Serum Indices

Currently, most analyzers automatically detect Hemolysis, Icterus and Lipemia (HIL) through measurement of Serum Indices. Pre-analytical detection of HIL is an important part of managing patient risk.

We would like your insights on how quality control material for Serum Indices may be used to validate consistent instrument performance in your laboratory. We would also like to see what future product you would like to see from Bio-Rad. The survey will take less than 5 minutes.

Thank you and we appreciate your input.
1. Serum Indices minimizes pre-analytical errors by testing the performance of the chemistry analyzer in detecting and flagging interferents such as Hemolysis, Icterus and Lipemia (HIL). How Important is this to your Lab? *This question is required.
2. Which interferent are you most interested in? *This question is required.
3. How important is the matrix when using a Serum Indices (HIL) product to test the chemistry analyzer's performance? *This question is required.
