Marisa has worked for a large grocery chain full time since 2013.  She took leave 4 weeks before she had her baby.  6 weeks after she had her baby, her doctor diagnosed her with post-partum depression and said she needed six more weeks to recover.  
10. Is Marisa’s job protected during these 6 additional weeks?
11. Is Marisa entitled to take additional leave to bond with her baby?

13. Can the baby’s other parent take leave?
Thomas’s daughter has severe asthma.  As a result, she has to attend frequent medical appointments and is sometimes hospitalized for asthma attacks.
14. Can he get time off to take his daughter to medical appointments if he works at a small restaurant in SF?  
15. What about if he works for a large janitorial company?
