2018 Call for Proposals Application

Application Instructions

Thank you for your interest in Sasaki Foundation’s 2018 Call for Proposals. The following interactive form will prompt you to enter important information regarding your proposal, your team members, and funding considerations. All fields are required unless otherwise noted. All proposal applications must be received by 12:00 pm (noon) on Tuesday, September 4, 2018. No late submissions will be considered. Please note: proposals received by the Sasaki Foundation will be considered open source and may appear on our website.
Please review the Sasaki Foundation’s current funding research and project topics, program interests, and criteria (website link) to determine if there is a match between your team or organization’s request and the Foundation’s funding interest. We recommend compiling all information prior to beginning the application. Required information includes:

With all required information at hand, the form will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. You can save your application and return to it at a later time by clicking the "Save and Continue Later" link in the top right corner of any question screen and following the instructions. Please note, if you enter responses on a given screen, you must click “Next” prior to saving in order for your responses to be registered. Further, it is recommended that you type all open-ended responses into a separate word-processing application (such as Microsoft Word) prior to copying them into the web form to ensure your information is not lost.

Once all information has been entered, a review screen and a downloadable PDF will be available, allowing you to verify that all information is correct prior to submitting.

Questions can be submitted in writing to and will be answered on the website in an FAQ document by August 1, 2018. An Open House for applicants will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 5:30 - 7:30pm.
