Volunteer Application
Adams County Pet Rescue believes that volunteers are motivated to do what is best & are accountable for their actions.  However, we must establish certain policies & procedures so that we can all work together in an efficient & effective manner.
	- All volunteers are at-will, meaning that their volunteer status can be severed at any time, for any non-discriminatory reason, without cause by ACPR
 
	- Volunteers who commit minor violations will be verbally counseled.  Minor violations could include absences, not following safety rules. etc.Serious violations can result in immediate dismissal without counseling or notice.
 
	- The following is a list of violations that will result in immediate dismissal; this list is intended to be a guide & is not all inclusive.
	
		- Misappropriation or misuse of money or property
 
		- Unauthorized removal of animal from ACPR
 
		- Willful damage to property or endangering human of animals
 
		- Possession of a dangerous weapon
 
		- Use, sale, possession, distribution or being under the influence of a controlled substance
 
		- Failure to follow specific, appropriate instructions
 
		- Falsification of any document
 
		- Intentionally misrepresenting ACPR or its policies
 
	
	 
I read the volunteer orientation & understand that I am required to comply with the standard Operation Procedures.  I agree to forever release, waive, & covenant to hold harmless ACPR, its officers, agents, employees & Volunteers from any and all claims, actions, losses, damages, liabilities, resulting from the undersigned perform services for ACPR
I recognize that there ar risks inherent in handling animals & while performing other services for ACPR Never-the-less, I hereby agree to assure those risks  & to release & to hold harmless all of the agencies or persons mentioned, whether caused directly or indirectly by any negligence attributable to ACPR.
