We're so glad you're interested in joining Mountaineers Adventure Club! MAC is a fun outdoor community of kids ages 14-18. We do a wide variety of outdoor activities, but our primary areas of focus are rock climbing, alpine climbing, hiking and backpacking. We provide technical instruction with the help of skilled Mountaineers volunteers. Our trips are led by our youth members, supported by volunteer adult leaders. Throughout the year, you'll have a chance to set specific goals for yourself, but also to try a lot of new types of activities. This application helps us understand your goals and commitment to make sure this is the right program for you. Please answer honestly. We look at the application as a whole and will follow-up with you if we have any questions.
