On October 15, 2018, the National Academy of Medicine will host the scientific symposium of its 48th Annual Meeting in Washington, DC. This year's scientific symposium will examine how the biology of cancers creates challenges for therapeutics, explore insights about the possible prevention of certain cancers, and discuss how to include policy in the fight against the disease.
