The theme of this year’s ASTSWMO Annual Meeting is “Modernizing Environmental Protection.” To assist the opening plenary session moderator and speakers, we are seeking input from each of the attendees. You will be required to answer these questions.
When compared to private industry, both the Federal and State governments lag behind when it comes to modernization. An easy example is IT modernization but there are many other factors to consider. For example, hiring practices in the public sector is one area that shows the barrier in public sector employment.
