Through a series of related questionnaires, this study attempts to understand the relationship between self-compassion, life management strategies, the structure of our personality and its possible links to other measures such as general health and performance at work. The research has been ethically approved by Henley Business School, University of Reading, UK.

This questionnaire typically takes 10 - 20 minutes to complete and asks 12 questions about your general approach to work, followed by a further 24 questions that probe how you respond when you have challenges at work and a final 12 questions on your general health. If you need to exit the questionnaire but wish to return to where you left off later, please use the 'save and continue' bar at the top of the page.

After you have completed this questionnaire, we will send you an email containing links to another questionnaire that will help us further research personality and life management strategies. This follow on questionnaire will result in you being emailed a comprehensive report based on how you manage your personality and behaviours in daily contexts. This report (that normally cost £150 ) will be sent to you free of charge via email. To receive such reports, you will need to provide your name and email address at the start of this study in the fields provided. Please use the same spelling for your name and email in subsequent surveys so we can link the data from different surveys.

At the end of the study, you will be offered an opportunity to attend a webinar to debrief you and provide you with a full description of the study outcome.

Confidentiality of the Data

For us to collate the data from the different questionnaires you will need to provide a name and email.

The questionnaire can be conducted completely anonymously by entering a made up name and made up email. However, to receive a report you will need to provide an email address where you can access the report we will email out.
