Affordable Housing Advisory Council ("AHAC")
Nomination Application
The Federal Home Loan Bank of New York ("FHLBNY") is now accepting nominations for its Affordable Housing Advisory Council (“Council”). By regulation, the FHLBNY must draw nominees from a diverse range of community and nonprofit organizations actively involved in providing or promoting low- and moderate-income housing and/or involved in providing community lending in the FHLBNY’s district. Employees of FHLBNY member institutions are not eligible to serve. Council members are appointed for three-year terms (with a maximum three terms).
Nominations must be submitted by the close of business on October 31, 2018, in order to be considered.  Only complete applications, with an attached nominee resume, will be reviewed. All nominees will be informed of the results of the nomination process by December 31, 2018.
