About the Donnybrook Station Upgrade

The planned upgrade at Donnybrook Station will provide better facilities for the community’s growing population.

A new car park will provide 150 additional spaces at the station and there will also be improved security and access for people, buses and cars.

Proposed amendment to planning scheme

An amendment to the Whittlesea Planning Scheme is proposed to enable the construction of the new Donnybrook Station carpark.

Rail Projects Victoria is requesting that the Minister for Planning prepare, adopt and approve a Planning Scheme Amendment for the Donnybrook Station upgrade, including exempting the amendment from public exhibition under section 20(4) of the Planning and Environment Act 1987.

You can view the draft Planning Scheme Amendment C229 and accompanying material on the Regional Rail Revival website.
