How to effectively return employees to work following an injury or illness, including more information about appropriate work restrictions and effective incentives for return to work.

Methods of preventing and exposing/prosecuting workers’ compensation fraud (i.e. identifying employer premium fraud, medical provider fraud, applicant fraud, and uninsured employers).
Evaluating the impact of policies and regulations in reducing injuries and illnesses on the job.
Research and data collection methods for evaluating how race, ethnicity, immigration status, gender, age, literacy, education and other socio-economic factors impact the risk of injuries and illness on the job.
Research on emerging hazards to worker health and safety (for example, nanotechnology, cannabis cultivation/processing, climate change, robotics).
