NYC Nonprofit Board Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Interest Form

NYC Service and the Nonprofit Coordinating Committee of New York (NPCC) have partnered to release What Lies Beneath: The State of NYC Nonprofit Board Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, a first of its kind report identifying current board demographics and board diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) gaps, strategies, recommendations and resources for NYC’s nonprofit sector.

NYC Service and NPCC are jointly committed to supporting nonprofit board DEI efforts, and in partnership with the NYC Nonprofit Board Development Coalition, will be creating a DEI Action Plan to support NYC nonprofit leaders over the coming year.

As we develop our DEI Action Plan, we also seek and value nonprofit and community feedback regarding what resources will be the greatest value add to NYC's nonprofit sector.
