Allstate Foundation Purple Purse Challenge

Thank you for your interest in the Allstate Foundation Purple Purse Challenge. Since 2013, The Allstate Foundation has hosted The Purple Purse Challenge to help local domestic violence nonprofits raise funds to support the survivors they serve. Through the dedication of hundreds of nonprofits, the Challenge has raised more than $13 million for domestic violence programs across the country. After much deliberation, The Allstate Foundation has decided to focus Purple Purse program resources more heavily on education and awareness of domestic violence and financial abuse. As a result, we are shifting our efforts away from fundraising, an activity that was often difficult for us to navigate as a private foundation. That means our 2018 Purple Purse Challenge – our fifth – was also our last. Although we will no longer host the Challenge, we welcome you take advantage of other Allstate Foundation tools and resources, including the Purple Purse Moving Ahead Curriculum. You can visit PurplePurse.com and download a FREE copy of this tool for use by advocates to teach financial management skills to survivors. Sincerely, The Allstate Foundation
