The Bonsucro Inspire Award returns for its eighth year to recognise individuals, companies and organisations that contribute significantly towards achieving the Bonsucro mission: responsible sugarcane production creates lasting value for the people, communities, businesses, economies and eco-systems in all cane growing origins.
Nominations are open and candidates do not have to be members of Bonsucro, or have their work directly linked to Bonsucro. You are invited to nominate any individual or organisation that you feel is worthy of this award. You are also welcome to nominate yourself.
The nominations will be assessed by the Awards Committee, who will select the Bonsucro Awards winners for each category. You are completing the entry form for the Award for Great Positive Social Impact
Improving the lives of smallholders, workers and local communities is an important element of sustainable development in sugarcane production and processing. Nominees need to show how they have successfully contributed towards improving the quality of life and work for smallholders, workers and/or local communities.
The deadline for submission of nominations is 5 January 2019. The winners of each award will be announced at the Award ceremony on Tuesday, 12 March 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand, as part of the Bonsucro Global Week 2019 programme.
