2019 ASCRS Grassroots Survey

Page One

Dear ASCRS•ASOA Member,

The 116th Congress has convened in Washington, and the 2018 mid-term election is likely to have a major impact on healthcare policy—including ASCRS•ASOA priority issues. With Republicans maintaining control of the Senate but losing the House of Representatives to Democrats, there will be new leadership on key committees with jurisdiction over healthcare, including the House Committees on Ways & Means and Energy & Commerce. And with the addition of more than 100 freshmen members in Congress, ASCRS•ASOA must form new relationships and realign our strategy. We need your help!

We are gathering information from you and your fellow members regarding your participation/interest in political activities, as well as your relationships with elected officials. The information you provide in this survey will help us formulate our legislative and grassroots strategy.

Please take a few minutes to complete this survey and share your experiences. Please be assured that we will NOT share any of your personal information.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Tami O'Brien, manager of PAC and grassroots, at tobrien@ascrs.org or 703-591-2220.

Thank you for your time and interest in ASCRS•ASOA advocacy.

Sincerely,
Parag D. Parekh, MD, MPA
Chairman, ASCRS Government Relations Committee
