Future Users of the INFACT Reference Sites

INFACT is a Horizon2020 Project funded by the EU to investigate the barriers to mineral exploration in Europe. Part of this involves establishing three Reference Sites for mineral exploration methods.  These will be permanently available to use for testing, calibrating and demonstrating equipment and techniques. They are located over known European mineral deposits that have comprehensive exploration databases against which your data can be compared.

A Certification Scheme will be optionally available, depending on the methods being used.  This will allow your method or technology to obtain independent confirmation that it is an effective exploration tool that has minimal impact on the environment and local communities whilst improving the chances of exploration success.  This would require your work to be monitored, and you would have to submit your data for independent and confidential review.

Completing this short questionnaire will provide the project partners with a broad understanding of level of interest in the INFACT Reference Sites, and help to ensure that the needs of future users are met.

Thank you very much for your time.
3. What type of organisation are you?
4. Is your organisation interested in using the INFACT Reference Sites?
5. Which of the INFACT Reference Sites are you most interested in?  Please drag and drop to show your order of preference. Order the items from the following list. First select an item with the spacebar to show a menu of possible ranking positions. Next, click a ranking position to order it in the ranked list. Note the menu will display more ordering options as you add items to the ranked list.
6. What do you think your principal uses of the Reference Sites would be?
Space Cell Importance
Testing or calibrating existing technology/methods
Testing new technology/methods
Demonstrating technology/methods to potential customers
Obtaining an EU Certificate for the technology/methods
Training technical staff
Academic research
7.  Which of the following best describes the methods that you would like to test on the Reference Sites?
9. How is your method deployed?
10. What is the Technology Readiness Level of your equipment or method?
11. Does your method require any ground installations, access to boreholes or drilling new boreholes?
12. Does your method present any risks or disturbance to the environment or people? If yes, please provide brief details.
13. How often would you use the INFACT Reference Sites?
