AAO 2019 Meeting Ambassador Program Interest Form

Thank you for your interest in participating in the Meeting Ambassador Program and serving as an ambassador at AAO 2019 in San Francisco.

This initiative is to help better engage international first-time annual meeting attendees. The program aims to ensure these first-time attendees have an enjoyable and productive meeting experience. Therefore, we are hoping that you, the experienced past attendee, can serve as a buddy and assist these newbies. 

We would ask that you welcome your buddy to the meeting, answer their questions about conference logistics and offer general meeting advice. You will be invited to a Buddy Meet and Greet Reception during the meeting. 

As a buddy, you will be paired by clinical focus (when possible) with a physician that resides outside of the United States and is attending the Academy meeting for the first time.
