A copy of your answers and personalized planting plan has been emailed to you. Please be sure to check all your email folders (including spam) and look for an email from "Yard Design Tool" with the subject "Your Personalized Yard Template." If you do not receive an email, please send your name and the date you finished the tool to lweller@allianceforthebay.org.

A representative from the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay will reach out to you regarding your request for financial assistance. If you are still interested in receiving this assistance, do not purchase any materials for your garden until you have heard from an Alliance staff member. Please be aware that it may take 1-2 weeks to hear from us after we receive your application. We appreciate your patience!

Steps to Receive Cost-Share in the Yellow Breeches/Conodoguinet watersheds include the following:

1. The Alliance will send you an email with any necessary follow-up questions about your planting plan.

2. The Alliance will send you a homeowner agreement to review and sign. The agreement includes a maintenance plan and requires that you care for your garden after planting. (After the first year or two, the plants will become established and require less maintenance). The agreement will also include the specific cost-share amount that the Alliance will pay, which is based on your chosen template and garden size.

3. Once you send back the homeowner agreement, the Alliance will notify the partnering nursery that you are ready to come in and purchase materials.

4. Buy your materials, and either plant your garden or have it professionally installed.
