Notable Women in Human Services Hall of Fame Tuesday, March 10, 2020
March is Women’s History Month, so we want to honor and celebrate women who have made a significant impact on human services and our communities. We will be highlighting the critical work done by these women, and the need for immediate funding in this year’s budget to ensure they are fairly paid. The human services workforce is over 80% women, and an investment in our workforce helps to address issues around equity.
Nominate A Woman In Human Services To Be Honored!
Know a woman in human services you think should be honored in our hall of fame? Your nominee should be currently employed at a nonprofit human services organization in a direct services role and be someone who goes above and beyond, exemplifying the importance of human services in New York’s communities. You should only nominate one staff per organization. We will notify you and the nominee if they are selected to be honored. Honorees will be featured in our Hall of Fame on March 10th, with a photo and write up of their contributions and accomplishments. We will be collecting nominations until January 17th.
