The ASTSWMO LUST Task Force is organizing its next LUST Workshop, which will be held in September 17-19, 2019, in New Orleans, LA. We’re seeking the States’ help in developing the agenda and content, and request you please take a few minutes to review the purpose of the Workshop below and complete this short survey.
Workshop Theme/Purpose: Identifying challenges (program, technical, economical; local/regional/national) State LUST programs are facing in closing sites, and highlighting strategies and activities States have developed to overcome challenges for purpose of increasing LUST cleanups and closures.
Target Audience: State LUST Program Managers responsible for managing cleanup of petroleum releases from USTs, and developing and implementing policies and strategies to meet State and national cleanup goals.
2. Identify up to 3 programmatic and/or technical challenges to reaching site closure in your State.
3. Identify up to 3 specific initiatives (policy/program/funding) your State has implemented to accelerate LUST site closures.
4. List up to 2 specific cleanup technologies you have found to be successful in cleaning up LUST sites in your State.
