2019 stakeholder survey

Background to this survey
As a valued supporter of the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission, we’d like to hear how you think we could remove some of the barriers that may be preventing Victorians from easily accessing our services. It will only take 5 minutes to complete this survey and we really appreciate your time in helping us to reach more Victorians, and to keep bringing our vision of a fairer, safe, and inclusive Victoria to life. 

In 2018 we began user research and found that one barrier is our public-facing name. Another is our website. We’ve heard that our public-facing name is too long, can be confusing, and is not easy to remember. We’ve also heard our website is hard to navigate, and much of our website content is too legalistic.

We’ve already started work on redeveloping our website to increase the accessibility of our services. We're also considering launching a new public-facing name. This means that while our legal name will not change, the name we are known by in the Victorian community might. To help inform this decision we are consulting with our existing stakeholders, and have designed this survey to enable stakeholders like you to share your opinion on our public-facing name.
