Expo Application - Sustainability Showcase 2019

                                                                                                                                                                                         
The NYCDOE's 3rd Annual Sustainability Showcase will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at the Brooklyn Expo Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. The focus of this event is to highlight noteworthy sustainability projects from DOE schools across the City. The Showcase will run from 10:00am to 2:00pm (see below for setup details)

Showcase Details:
  • Awards - Showcase participants will have an opportunity to vote on top projects from each grade range (PreK-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12). Winners will receive $2,500 for sustainability projects at their school for the 2019-20 school year!
  • Chaperone Responsibility - You are responsible for your student(s) at this event, as well as, their transportation to and from the Brooklyn Expo Center.
  • Expo Details
    • Presentations should be interactive and engaging - designed to inspire and provide participants with takeaways and ideas.
    • Schools will be provided one table (6ft x 3ft).
    • Electricity access is limited. There is NO Wi-Fi.
    • Each school may elect to involve up to two (2) school staff members and five (5) students. We encourage teachers and Principals to join!

    • Application Due: Friday, March 22
    • School will be notified: Monday, April 8
