Leadership Academy Application 2019

Leadership Academy 2019 Online Application

Thank you for your interest in applying for Leadership Academy 2019. The application consists of this online form and a separate Participant Agreement Form. In addition to questions about your contact information and background, the online application includes six short-answer questions; we recommend formulating answers to these questions before beginning the application. The short-answer questions and can be found here. Responses to all short-answer questions are required.

Applications will be reviewed by AEC staff members and a panel of Leadership Academy alumni. The panel will be asked to respond to each application by answering the following questions:
  • What are two to three strengths this candidate has? 
  • Is there anything AEC staff should check in with the candidate about before confirming their participation?
If you begin the application and are unable to finish it in a single session, you can click on the "Save and continue later" button found at the bottom of each screen. A unique link to your responses will be sent to the email address that you provide. If your email system features strict filters that typically block emails from unfamiliar sources, we recommend formulating answers in advance and completing the online application in a single session.

Near the end of this online application, you will be given instructions for downloading and completing a Participant Agreement Form. Your application will not be considered without a completed Participant Agreement Form.

Both the online application and Participant Agreement Form are due by Friday, April 26, 2019. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance status no later than May 24, 2019. The $300 registration fee will be required upon acceptance.
