***If a Fire Safety Burn Ban is in effect, per FPB Policy 080323 the following requirements apply for fireworks displays in addition to all requirements of NFPA 1123 & NFPA 1124:

A water truck will wet down any areas within 150% of the fallout area on the evening of the display and will refill and remain on site for 1 hour after the firework display is over.
Two dedicated fire watch personnel who are employed by the pyrotechnic company will circulate throughout the area during the event, and for 1 hour after the event concludes. Each fire watch employee will have reliable communications and a minimum of 1, 3-A:40B:C fire extinguisher or a rechargeable fire extinguisher Class: A UL Rating: 2-A on their person.

Applications are only accepted between March 15th - May 10th of each year for which the permit is sought. Incomplete permit applications will not be accepted. The number of permits available is limited (refer to PC Code 17C.60.090). Pierce County Zoning restrictions may apply. Fire Prevention Bureau inspection of stand is required.

Applications are required to be submitted 4 weeks prior to the event. Incomplete permit applications will not be accepted.
