What is this survey for?
As you may know, since January 2018 we have been working on developing an experimental Digital Social Innovation (DSI) Index which aims to understand what factors support DSI in European cities, assess how different cities are currently performing and help policymakers understand what they need to do to support DSI, tech for good and civic tech to scale its impact. We will be launching the index at our final event in Warsaw in June 2019.
We recently finalised a first version of the index and over the coming months we will be focusing on refining the data and indicators, building a data visualisation and exploring the contexts and stories behind the results.
This is where we need your help!
Over the process of building the index, our greatest challenge has been the poor quality and unavailability of data. To tackle this, we identified seven indicators that would benefit from input from people with great national-level knowledge of DSI ecosystems across Europe.
In this survey, we will ask you to answer 7 questions related to the tech sector, civil society, government support for DSI, diversity and funding. Please fill in the survey for the country (s) you know most about in relation to the field of DSI. If you are responding for more than one country, you will have to fill in the survey for each country individually.
