Youth Services Program Registration and Checklist

Your program is responsible for implementation of and compliance with the Protection of Minors Standards. The Standards requires action by your program to help ensure that your program and the university meet legal and ethical obligations to protect minors participating in university programs and visiting the university’s campuses.

The first step in compliance is the completion of the Youth Services Program Registration and the Youth Services Program Checklist. The Checklist will be emailed to the University of Idaho youth services program at the completion of the Youth Services Program Registration. The Youth Services Program Checklist will be sent to program contact and the director to assist them in integrating compliance with the educational planning for their program. The Youth Services Program Checklist will collect information for planning the programing content and structure as well as for documentation purposes, to prevent and minimize abuse risks. Units should retain required documentation indefinitely.
