The American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R) would like to invite you to participate in this year’s
PM&R Residency Fair, which will take place during the 2019 Annual Assembly on
Saturday, November 16th from 2 pm – 4 pm at the Grant Hyatt Texas Ballroom in San Antonio, TX.
The Residency Fair is part of AAPM&R’s annual “Understanding PM&R” Medical Student Program, allowing for face-to-face interaction between program directors (and/or representatives of each individual program) and medical students who are interested in PM&R. It introduces medical students to the specialty and what it means to be a physiatrist, and is a great opportunity to promote your program.
AAPM&R has presented this
free program for medical students at the Annual Assembly for the past 9 years, representing PM&R residencies from all over the country. Last year, over 300 medical students attended and provided very positive feedback on the program. We are hopeful that this event will continue encouraging the best and the brightest students to consider a career in our specialty.
Receive prime placement and added recognition for your program and your institution at the Residency Fair, throughout the Annual Assembly and year, by participating in the AAPM&R Institution Partners Council (IPC). Join the growing list of participants, including Johns Hopkins, Kindred Hospital Rehabilitation Services, MedStar NRH, Penn Medicine, Rusk Rehabilitation at NYU Langone, Shepherd Center, Shirley Ryan Ability Lab, SIMED, Spaulding, UC Davis, University of Louisville School of Medicine, University of Minnesota Medical School, US Physiatry, and UT Southwestern Medical Center in this valuable program.
