NAPO2020 Post Conference Workshop Information

Place: 
Orlando, Florida

Date: April 5, 2020 

Time: There are three potential timing options depending on the length of the workshop you submit. 10:00 - 12:00 and 12:00 - 2:00 (or one 4-hour option could be 10:00 - 2:00)
  • For a 2-hour session
    • 10:00 am - 12:00 pm EDT
    • 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm EDT
  • For a 4-hour session
    • 10:00 am - 2:00 pm EDT
Description
NAPO Education seeks dynamic instructors to lead hands-on, interactive post-conference workshops. The Instructors will be responsible for:
  • Developing course material unique to NAPO including slides, handouts, and hands-on activities. You may not submit a presentation that you have delivered in the past and/or outside of NAPO.
  • Working with a volunteer task team for quality control measures and to aid in the development of your course
  • Delivering the in-person workshop at NAPO2020
  • Redesigning the workshop after conference to fit the NAPO University on-demand format
  • Recording the redesigned class for NAPO University
Qualifications
To be considered for the positions, you must be: 
  • A subject-matter expert (SME) in the class topic for which you are applying.
    • Moving & Staging
    • Brain-Based Conditions (ADHD, Hoarding, Chronic Disorganization, etc.)
    • Business Growth
  • A NAPO member with Professional member status
  • At least 5 years of organizing and/or productivity experience.
  • An effective presenter in a live setting and also in a webinar format.
  • Able to develop content that would be unique to NAPO. (Please do not submit previously used presentations.)
  • Able to work well with others. You will be working with a task team who will be assisting you with developing the learning objectives and outline, and reviewing your content and recording. 
Non-NAPO members with extensive experience in a related field will also be considered.


Compensation:
These are NOT volunteer positions. NAPO University Instructors are paid contractors of NAPO and are expected to meet all deadlines as presented in their contract. Please review the honorarium terms below:
  • $750 per 2-hour session for course development
  • $90 per hour to deliver the in-person workshop at conference
  • $90 per hour to redevelop the class after conference (capped at $750)
  • $750 to record a 2-hour on-demand class 
  • 10% of on-demand sales once posted to NAPO University
Please note: All NAPO2020 Annual Conference registration, travel, lodging, and incidentals are the responsibility of the instructor. NAPO will not reimburse these expenses.
