Building a Safer Future: proposals for reform of the building safety regulatory system

Introduction

Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey.

We want to hear our members’ views, knowledge, expertise and experience regarding the Government’s new proposals for the reform of the building safety regulatory system. Your feedback will shape our sector response.

The purpose of this survey is to understand how the Government’s proposed changes will impact housing associations, and whether there are any particular issues that the changes may cause – for example, impact on capacity, resources, timing and deliverability.

Although the consultation period ends on 31 July, we need time to collate feedback from across the sector and write a coordinated response. Therefore, please share your views by Monday 15 July

We want to hear your views on the questions we’ve outlined, however these are not intended to be prescriptive, and we welcome broader views. We’ve added space at the end of each section so you can provide wider views or add in anything else you wish to share.

If you want to take another look at our briefing on this consultation, you can find it here (opens in new window).

If possible, please also submit any case studies to support your views, and aim to capture your unique experiences when answering the questions.
