Mid Council: Mental Health

The 223rd General Assembly called for a church-wide study to bring attention to mental health and mental illness that focuses on the ways that congregations are responding. This is part of a two-year mental health initiative established by the General Assembly on the 10th anniversary of Comfort My People: A Policy Paper on Serious Mental Illness.

The survey is to bring attention to some of the issues surrounding mental health and mental illness, giving them light. This is one of several surveys that is being sent in order to address this mandate. Other surveys will be sent to members, churches, pastors, and seminaries.

Your participation in this survey is voluntary.  You may skip any question that makes you feel uncomfortable or you would prefer not to answer.  All responses to this survey will be reported in aggregate (they will be grouped together so that no one will be able to identify your individual response).
