2020 Barry Izsak/Glorya Sklair Conference Scholarship Application

The Barry Izsak/Glorya Schklair Conference Scholarship was established to help NAPO members attend the NAPO conference who might otherwise not be able to attend for financial or other extenuating circumstances.

Each year, the NAPO Scholarship Committee will select no fewer than two scholarship recipients.

This application may be saved and completed at another time.  Beginning on the next page you will see in the upper right-hand corner, that you can save your application in process. You will receive a link in an email to return to the survey to complete it.
  • The deadline for the scholarship application for the NAPO2020 Annual Conference is Thursday, October 31, 2019. Incomplete applications or applications submitted after October 31 will not be considered. No exceptions.
  • For the NAPO2020 Annual Conference, the scholarship will provide complimentary full-conference registration, plus up to 2 nights basic hotel expenses at the conference hotel.  All other hotel and conference-related expenses, including transportation, food, alcohol, etc., must be paid by the recipient.
  • Scholarship awards are not transferable and can only be used for the conference for which it has been awarded.
  • All applicants must complete the entire application. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
  • Applicants will be notified by February 1, 2020, regarding the status of their application for the NAPO2020 Conference.
  • All supporting documents must be attached to applicants application (letters of recommendations and personal essay) and the Acceptance of Application Terms must be electronically signed.
  • If not accepted, applicants may re-apply in subsequent years with updated information in a new application, noting that they applied in the past.
  • NAPO Members who have been past recipients of the scholarship may not apply again.
