Longitude Explorer Prize 2019

We’re thrilled to announce that the Longitude Explorer Prize (LEP) will be returning for the academic year 2019/20.

Longitude Explorer Prize  - a national competition for 11-16 year olds - uses STEM, entrepreneurship and innovation to help young people tackle the issues they care about. We’ll be inviting schools and learning groups to form teams of 2-5 pupils to submit their ideas for solutions, focused around using Artificial Intelligence to improve the lives of others. The selected teams will be supported by mentors, kit and resources to turn their ideas into reality.

Longitude Explorer will run across the academic year, with events and support for teams to develop their ideas for AI based solutions, across 4 central themes: Health, Ageing Society, Clean Growth and the Future of Mobility.
