Financial Assistance Grant Request - CCCC

Grant Criteria

The CCCC has been blessed with matching grant funds to offer financial assistance grants to 25 pastors. A Retirement Savings Jump Start Grant of $1,000 is available for pastors whose churches agree to match this grant and set up a retirement account within their budget.

We also have funds available to assist with the financial needs of pastors.  The Conference Care Team has approved a gift of $2,000.00 to pastors who have experienced a loss of income due to the coronavirus pandemic in the following way(s):
  • A reduction of pay or loss of job as a CCCC pastor of a CCCC member church or a non-member church
  • A reduction of pay or loss of job by a spouse of a CCCC member minister
  • A reduction of pay or loss of job by a CCCC member minister who is bi-vocational

1. Pastor is credentialed with the CCCC and in active service.
2. Signed up at and created an account to preview (with your spouse, if married) the Personal Finances course, Bless Your Finances and the Generosity training sessions available to you and your board.
3. Chosen and talked with a designated lay leader that has reviewed this application.
4. Agree to start and finish the Personal Finances course (with your spouse, if married) within nine months if approved for a Retirement Assistance grant. If you are applying for the Financial Need grant (due to coronavirus pandemic) you must complete the one-session Bless Your Finances course.
5. Your designated church leader agrees to schedule a time in the coming months for your church board to go through the Bless Your Pastor training session and finalize plans when to distribute the brochure to the families in your congregation, and receive a Pastor or Pastor and Staff Appreciation offering. Note: You and your church leader are also encouraged to consider using the other individual training sessions, six-session Church Generosity course, or other NAE Financial Health resources in the future.
6. Understand you will receive the grant when we receive your course completion certificate for the Personal Finances or Bless Your Finances.
