Thank you for your interest in becoming a COAMFTE Site Visitor.
Please complete this application to apply for the trainings. COAMFTE Staff will contact every individual that submits a completed application after a review of the submission to determine eligibility.
As a reminder, please see the COAMFTE Site Visitor qualifications copied below:
- Minimum of five (5) years of advanced experience as an LMFT practitioner and/or educator/researcher in MFT (which includes but is not limited to: experience in a university, clinical, or related setting)
- AAMFT Approved Supervisor and/or State Approved Supervisor
- Current knowledge of COAMFTE accreditation standards
- Successful completion of COAMFTE Site Visitor Training
- Licensed marriage and family therapist
- Current knowledge and experience in the profession of marriage and family therapy
- Participation in a site visit or refresher training every two (2) years to maintain 'Active Status'
- Site Visitors can not serve concurrently on the AAMFT Board or other AAMFT task forces or committees.
Please note: There are two virtual Site Visit Trainings - The virtual didactic training will be held on October 30, 2019 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm Eastern time, and the skill-based virtual training will be held on November 15, 2019 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm Eastern time. New Site Visitors must attend
both virtual trainings.
