NYC Teaching Collaborative and NYC Teaching Fellows are alternative teacher preparation programs managed by the NYC Department of Education. These programs are designed to prepare individuals who do not have a formal background in education to become certified through an expedited route.

Excellent candidates are individuals who want to commit to the achievement of students in underserved NYC communities, as well as to their own growth and development.
