Human Reliability Workshop in Philippines

Program Description

Health Security Partners (HSP) and the Chemical Industries Association of the Philippines (SPIK), are pleased to offer a three-day workshop on Human Reliability Program (HRP) led by a group of international and domestic experts. Human Reliability Program (HRP), also called personnel reliability program, confirms that employees who have access to or work with chemicals are reliable, ensuring high standards of security, safety and productivity in contributing to the company’s mission and values. The workshop is provided free of cost to the selected participants; additionally, HSP will support travel and lodging expenses for the participants. A certificate will be provided to participants who complete the workshop.

Eligibility: This workshop is limited to participants from the Mindanao Region of the Philippines. This workshop is designed for a combination of: (1) Technical managers who oversee teams of staff, and (2) HR managers, in companies that manufacture, distribute or transport hazardous chemicals. The workshop is limited to participants from companies in the Mindanao region and will be held 30 April - 2 May 2020 in Cebu City. Working knowledge of English is essential to participate in the workshop.

Agenda: The workshop, led by a team of international and Philippine experts, will feature lectures, interactive case studies, and scenario-based discussion. Participants will gain the latest knowledge and training in human reliability programs, preparing them to implement best practices to improve productivity, security, safety and efficiency in the context of Responsible Care. The workshop will be delivered in English.
