Name Salem's Alleys!

After a requesting input from the public about alley names, the following options represent the final choices! Please vote for your favorite!


Additional Note:
Alley 9, bounded by State St, Commercial St SE, Ferry St SE, and Front St SE will be named for Salem's Indigenous inhabitants - the Santiam Kalapuya. A request has been made with the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, the Confederated Tribes of Siletz, and the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs to comment on an appropriate name for the alley. Among the options are Tsamikiti Alley (anglicized as Chemeketa and the original place name for Salem), Quinaby, and Kalapuya.

2. Alley 2:
Bounded by Liberty, Chemeketa, High, and Court Streets
 
3. Alley 3:
Bounded by Front, Court, Commercial, and State Streets
 
4. Alley 4:
Bounded by Commercial, Court, Liberty, and State Streets
 
5. Alley 5:        
Bounded by Liberty, Court, High, and State Streets
6. Alley 6:
Bounded by Commercial, State, Liberty, and Ferry Streets
