DISTRIBUTION CENTER ASSOCIATE (FULL TIME)
Columbus, Ohio

Under the leadership and direction of the Warehouse Manager/Owner, this position supports all areas of the distribution center including receiving, returns, damages, picking, packing, transfers, shipping and overall movement of inventory. In addition, this position supports all areas of customer service, including but not limited to, responding to any and all questions, complaints, and reviews communicated by our customers. This will be managed via emails and various social media platforms and may change as the business grows.

Responsibilities: 
  • Count new, old and defective products to ensure accurate product inventory
  • Report any inventory discrepancies
  • Randomly inspect product according to company guidelines
  • Organize warehouse to ensure efficient flow of product processes
  • Receive deliveries from carrier companies
  • Distribute product to appropriate storage areas
  • Review and address quality control issues with management
  • Review, print and prepare all unfulfilled orders for shipment
  • Receive and inspect all customer returned items
  • Repackage and restock returned items when appropriate/applicable
  • Complete customer exchange per customer request after return shipment has been received. Assure that guidelines have been met and that appropriate stock availability and customer information has been verified.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints through email, phone, company website and social media platforms
  • Ensure online product shipments occur within company standards and deadlines
  • Refund customer’s account when return shipment has been received, guidelines have been met and customer information has been verified
  • Investigate and followup on pending and fraudulent transactions
  • Perform other duties and accepts other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Experience in the field
  • Manual and physical labor; lifting and transporting items weighing anywhere between 0-75 lbs 
Please note that this position may require working hours outside of a traditional work schedule. Weekday or weekend product launches often require additional hours. Holidays, such as; Black Friday and Black Friday weekend, Cyber Monday, Christmas season, New Year’s and various other holidays also may require additional time.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

Prolonged sitting or standing may be required. Physical movements and the degree of mobility, manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination normally associated with duties in a warehouse setting will be performed on a regular basis. This also includes bending, twisting, reaching, lifting, pulling, pushing, and walking.

HOURS: 

25-40 hours per week

HOURLY WAGE:

$14/hour
 
HOLIDAY POSITION (PART-TIME)
Columbus, Ohio

Start Date: Early October

Under the direction of the warehouse manager and leadership team this position supports all areas of the distribution center and overall movement of its inventory, including but not limited to shipping and receiving, transfers, picking, packing and damages. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Count new, old and defective products to ensure accurate product inventory
  • Report any inventory discrepancies
  • Randomly inspect product according to company guidelines
  • Organize warehouse to ensure efficient flow of product processes
  • Receive deliveries from carrier companies
  • Distribute product to appropriate storage areas
  • Review and address quality control issues with management
  • Repackage and restock returned items when appropriate/applicable
  • Become educated on all existing and incoming product inventory and learn to quickly differentiate the individual products from one another. 
  • Perform additional duties as needed and any other task assigned

  • Availability M-F ; 730am-330pm; select weekends (provided in advance)
