OPTIC: the Online Platform for Teaching and Informed Calibration, a dynamic online platform comprised of over 100 videos of classroom instruction. Learn how to bring educator teams together to develop a
shared understanding of high quality practice (aligned to the Standard for Effective Practice),
rigorous, standards-aligned instruction (aligned to the MA Curriculum Frameworks), and
actionable feedback to strengthen teaching and support deeper learning.
This platform is uniquely designed to promote collaborative learning among all educators--from classroom teachers to administrators to coaches, mentors, and supervisors. DESE is traveling throughout the state to demo the platform. Anyone may attend! Register here to join one of four regional demonstrations:
