Thank you for your interest in joining the NYC Service Neighborhood Volunteer Collaborative!

This free training series is for local community groups from Queens neighborhoods that aim to maximize their volunteer recruitment and engagement efforts with research-based practice.

The following neighborhoods and other surrounding neighborhoods in Queens are invited to attend:
  • Flushing 
  • Willets Point
  • College Point
  • Murray Hill
  • Auburndale
  • Kew Gardens Hill
During these sessions, attendees will have an opportunity to:
  • Understand volunteer engagement patterns through qualitative research conducted by specialists.
  • Gain FREE NYC Service tools and resources that can increase your organizational capacity.
  • Develop engagement strategies tailored to local needs.
  • Join a network of neighborhood based organizations.

4. We will be conducting a qualitative interview with Queens residents (volunteers or non-volunteers) to understand more about volunteer engagement. Would you be able to link us to 1-2 of your volunteers or clients to participate in a short interview with NYC Service?
