Request for Travel Assistance: AAAS Science, Technology and Human Rights Conference

Welcome!

Thanks to the generous support of the Andrew M. Sessler Fund for Science, Education, and Human Rights, members of the AAAS Science and Human Rights Coalition and the conference sponsors, we are pleased to offer a limited number of travel stipends for students/early career professionals, and human rights practitioners who will participate in the 2019 AAAS Science, Technology and Human Rights Conference. The stipends can be used to help pay for travel to/from Washington, DC, accommodations in Washington, DC during the conference, and conference registration fees

The deadline for submitting your request is September 16, 2019.

By September 30, you will receive an e-mail indicating the amount of travel support available to you. If requests total more support than we can provide, some stipends will only cover a portion of the travel expenses and some requests may be declined. These decisions will be made by the Conference Host Committee, based on information gathered through the online application form. Preference will be given to first-time attendees and those who have limited or no other financial support to attend the conference.
