Please complete this form for any student leader consideration to be considered as a student leader for the 2020 LGBT MBA Club Leadership Summit (April TBD in Chicago).
Now in its 12th year, the leadership summit brings together rising club leaders to network, share experiences & best practices, and hear about national LGBTQ issues and initiatives. Each year a core team of 5-6 students works with our Executive Director on the content for this event.
Applications are open to anyone who will be a current student in the spring of 2020. An ideal team will consist of some first year students, some second year students, and potentially a part-time student.
Commitment-wise, the LGBTQ MBA Club Leadership Summit generally involves a one-hour team call once a month starting in November, with some content development and logistics work in between often done one-on-one with Reaching Out staff members. The team usually has check-ins every 3 weeks starting December through April. These roles are almost exclusively content focused with some minor logistics.
Of the three marquee events (ROMBA Conference, Out Women in Business, and The LGBTQ Club Leadership Summit), this is the lowest overall commitment, but requires a lot of thought and preparation for robust content.
