Master of SCAI (MSCAI) 2020 Nomination Form

An MSCAI

  • Sets a moral and ethical example for others,
  • Strives for excellence in patient care, and
  • Is committed to the highest professional standards.

Nominate an active Fellow of SCAI for the Master Interventionalist of SCAI (MSCAI) designation. Nominees must be a SCAI member in good standing for at least ten years, and have twenty years or more of post-training professional experience in cardiac and/or endovascular angiography and/or intervention and have demonstrated excellence in:

  • Scientific achievement
  • Innovation and technical development
  • Teaching
  • Clinical achievement
  • Leadership and service to SCAI

The MSCAI application consists of three (3) documents which must be submitted online at the same time. You will not be able to return to the online nomination form to add documents later.

1. Online Nomination Form: (To fill this out, click the "Next" button at the bottom of this page)

2. Nomination Letter: (SCAI cannot accept hardcopy nominations letters. These documents must be uploaded/attached when you submit the online nomination form; otherwise, the application will be considered incomplete):
The nomination letter should explain why the nominator considers the candidate worthy of the elite status of MSCAI. The letter should highlight the special qualities of the candidate while addressing the MSCAI Criteria and be no longer than 2 pages. The letter should be dated and addressed to: Chair, c/o Stephanie Colbert, SCAI Credentials Committee, SCAI, 1100 17th ST NW, Suite 400, Washington, DC 20036-4628 USA.

 
3. The CV of the Nominee
The CV should be current and in English. (SCAI cannot accept hardcopy nominations CVs. These documents must be uploaded/attached when you submit the online nomination form; otherwise, the application will be considered incomplete).
