Chevron is offering six $5,000 scholarships to Mines Students for the 2019-2020 academic year: 

 
Scholarship Criteria: 
  • Full-time student
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Major: Petroleum Engineering
  • Classification: Junior, Senior, Graduate, PhD 
  • Volunteer experience at Mines
  • Short Answer Question
  • Current Resume
Additional requirements by class:

Juniors:
  • A minimum of 1 leadership role in a technical society or extra-curricular activity (ex. Society of Women Engineers, Fraternity/Sorority, etc.)
  • A minimum of 1 technical internship related to field of study. 
Seniors:
  • A minimum of 1 leadership role in a technical society or extra-curricular activity (ex. Society of Women Engineers, Fraternity/Sorority, etc.)
  • A minimum of 1 technical internship related to field of study

Masters/PhDs:
  • A minimum of 1 technical internship related to field of study preferred
  • Thesis/Dissertation must be on a topic that is related to energy industry
