Families with Children Ages 5-9

Welcome! We're glad you're here.

The Compass Survey for Families with Children Ages 5-9 is a tool that will help you become more aware of how younger children's core abilities are developing. When these abilities are identified and understood in elementary school-age children, families can more effectively help children thrive in school and life by nurturing these abilities every day.

This survey is part of the Compass Survey of Core Human Attributes—a collection of surveys for youth, adults, and families—used for research in the fields of youth and adult development. Your personal information and individual results are kept private and confidential, and shared only with you. When data is used for research purposes, your personally identifying information is removed and your results are aggregated and summarized with other survey-takers.

At the completion of this survey, you will receive an email with your child's scores, including a downloadable guide that will help parents, guardians, grandparents, or other key caregivers in a child's life interpret and apply the results.
