Teacher Interviews

Thank you for your interest in speaking to Nesta.

Our research
Nesta is working on a new programme to unearth, celebrate and share exciting work in the area of maths and computer science. As part of our programme design, we are interviewing secondary school maths and computing teachers to find out how creativity and problem solving is taught in their school through these subjects.

Interviews will involve a call between you and member of the team here at Nesta. We will ask for your thoughts and responses to a number of questions and we expect the interview will take about 30 minutes in total. The information you provide will inform a report on creativity and problem-solving and how these skills are taught in maths and computer science. This report will be used by Nesta for internal purposes only, to inform our work and programme design in this area. Your name and any other personal information will not be used in the final report.

How to help?

If you are a secondary school maths and computing teacher and would be happy to take part in an interview, all you have to do is complete this form by Friday 10th January 2019. Someone will then get in touch with you to agree a date and time for the interview call.

How can you win a £10 amazon voucher?
We’re keen to get as many interviews completed before the Christmas break. To incentivise this, anyone who agrees to take part and completes an interview with us by 5pm Friday 20th December 2019 will be entered into a prize draw to win a £10 Amazon gift voucher.

The prize draw winners will be chosen at random. If you are a winner we will contact you using the details you submit below by Friday 10th January. To comply with regulations, the first name and country of winners will be made available on request. There are a total of fifteen vouchers available. As we will only conduct one interview with each individual, there is only one entry to the prize draw per person. The prize is non-transferable and Nesta can amend the prize draw rules at any time.

If you do not want to be entered into the prize draw please let us know (and you can do this during your interview call with us).

How will we use your information?
The personal information you provide to Nesta using this form will be used to contact you to arrange and conduct the interview described above. We will also use the information administer the prize draw, to notify you if you are a winner and to send your prize to you. If we are asked to do so by regulators and/or members of the public, we may need to notify them of your first name and country if you are a winner of the prize draw. This is to ensure we can comply with regulations relating to prize draws. Our Privacy Policy provides more information about how we use personal data. We will not use your information for any other purpose and we will delete your information as soon as we no longer need it for the purposes we’ve described.
