Alt+Shift Partnership Site Application 2020

Alt+Shift partners with intermediate school districts (ISDs) to provide initial training, co-constructed implementation planning, and subsequent follow-up for
  • improving alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) and literacy for students with complex communication needs
  • setting up team-based systems for the effective provision of assistive technology (AT)
  • providing high quality math instruction for students with disabilities

Thank you for your interest in applying for a partnership.

Before completing this application, please read the Call for Applications for the training you are interested in (linked below).  Then return to this application to submit your responses.

For "wait list only" trainings, we are currently at capacity for partnership.  However, if your ISD is ready to consider partnership, we encourage you to apply and someone will follow up with you to see what you can do to get started with making positive change for students until partnerships are available.
Timeline for applications
  • Application deadline - No deadline.  Submit your application whenever you are ready to do so, and we will follow up with you.
  • Accepted applicants may start planning with Alt+Shift, knowing plans are tentative and flexible.  Plans will be responsive to federal, state, and local guidance regarding health and safety, as well as readiness at the sites to move ahead.
