The Early Learning Team, in collaboration with the Massachusetts School Administrators Association (MSAA), will be hosting its first Book Group as part of this year's professional development series for elementary principals. The first book for our Book Group comes as a recommendation from our keynote speaker, Nicole Christian-Brathwaite, who spoke with us about trauma-informed practices in October. The book we will read is entitled The Boy Who Was Raised as a Dog: And Other Stories from a Child Psychiatrist's Notebook--What Traumatized Children Can Teach Us About Loss, Love, and Healing by Bruce Perry.
We will hold the Book Group Discussion on Monday, February 10th from 1:00-2:30, using webinar software and phone conferencing.
