HVO Scholarship Application

HVO Scholarship Opportunities

Please note: candidates must have an identified training opportunity in order to apply.
Candidates may include local residents, faculty and clinicians at HVO project sites.

HVO has two scholarship opportunities: Warfield Scholarship for Anesthesia Professionals and the Wyss Scholarship for Future Leaders in Global Health. Complete the questions below to learn more about the scholarship you will be applying for.

You are applying for the WYSS SCHOLARSHIP FOR FUTURE LEADERS IN GLOBAL HEALTH.

 Applications must be received at least 4 months prior to the event that requires funding. Applications will be reviewed on a quarterly basis, with deadlines as follows: January 31, April 30, July 31, October 31.

Candidates will be notified of a decision within a month following the submission deadline.

You are required to submit your CV and three letters of support, and provide details about the opportunity and budget.

You are applying for the WARFIELD SCHOLARSHIP FOR ANESTHESIA PROFESSIONALS.
 
You must work/study at an overseas HVO project site. Candidates may include local anesthesia providers – both physician and non-physician anesthetists – at HVO anesthesia and nurse anesthesia sites.

You must have an identified training opportunity in order to apply. Eligible opportunities for funding include: international or regional professional meetings, workshops or other training opportunities including online short courses.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. 
Applications must be received at least 4 months prior to the event that requires funding.

You are required to submit your CV and two letters of support, and provide details about the opportunity and budget.
