At RSNA 2020, Radiology Business Journal’s third annual Imaging Innovation Awards, sponsored by Intelerad, will recognize private radiology practices, hospital radiology departments, freestanding imaging centers and/or provider entities offering dedicated imaging services that have combined creative thinking with coordinated teamwork to develop a notably original breakthrough in some particular aspect of medical imaging.
The winning innovations may have come in the form of novel technology customization, AI adoption, process improvement, volume generation, interior-space design—or in any concerted effort to maximize care quality while optimizing patient experience and boosting overall efficiency.
Successful nominations will:
- Describe a project that launched with a clear aim, unfolded over a specified time period and concluded with a measurable or demonstrable improvement.
- Detail steps that could be readily adoptable or imitated by other radiology organizations around the U.S.
- Tell how the project team innovated—applying resourcefulness, inventiveness and/or creative thinking—as they pursued their project’s goals.
Entries must be completed as answers to the questions that follow by no later than April 30th.
A panel of five judges will select five winning entries to be published in the December edition of Radiology Business Journal. Attractive, display-ready trophies will be awarded at RSNA.
